Jadey Sam

If there’s one woman who can outdo Hannah Montana and honestly say that she’s experienced the best of both worlds, it’s Jade. She has spawned both the eastern and western parts of the globe when she and her husband made the move from The Netherlands to exotic Singapore. She terribly missed her friends and felt the gnawing need to connect with the people she held most dear to her heart. Extreme homesickness and loneliness then became the impetus for her to start blogging. So in 2008, Jade wiped away her tears and blogged away, sharing bits and pieces of her new life in Singapore to family and friends.

Blogging opened up a whole new world for Jade. She felt she owned her little corner of the world where she could blog about anything and everything as she pleases. The million and one views and ideas brewing inside of her finally had a venue where they can see the light of day. Whenever she felt an attack of depression coming on, she’d simply turn to her blog and pour her heart out. She never imagined how cathartic blogging could be.

More than being an emotional and intellectual outlet, what especially endeared Jade to blogging was the fact that she has made new friends from all over the world. She has been blessed with more friends than she ever imagined she could have.

Things really started turning up roses when Jade realized that she can earn money from blogging. It felt like having her cake and eating it too when the dollars started rolling in from her efforts at blogging.

Juggling responsibilities in the air is something Jade has gotten to be particularly good at, what with 18 blogs under her belt! She started off with www.pinayjade.com, and the blogs just sprouted like mushrooms from then on.

When she’s not in front of the computer, you’ll find Jade dabbling in her two main interests: fashion and home making. She blogs about those in Happy Home and Family and Diva Fabulosa.

Friends sometimes jokingly ask Jade if she plans on having as many blogs as there are fish in the sea. She gives them a sinister smile and says… “We’ll see!”
